Go On Amusement Park Rides!

April 27, 2016

Being overweight or morbidly obese has its limitations. One of them is going to an amusement park and be able to fit on the rides comfortably. Many of members of the bariatric community often share their experiences of going to an amusement park with their friends or families, stand in line, get up to board the ride and are unable to fit in the seat. When this occurs, it causes disappointment for the person and the people with them.  It is quite understandable that this is a goal that many WLS'ers want to achieve!

The goal to "Go to an amusement park and fit on the rides comfortably" is a popular goal in the ObesityHelp Goal System that OH members want to achieve and have accomplished! After our weight loss surgery, our bodies reduce in size and we are able to board an amusement park ride comfortably.  As the weather gets warmer and vacation plans are being created, let's make the goal and support each other!

Is this one of your goals? Have you already achieved this?
