Did you know that ObesityHelp (OH) organized and hosted the first ever National Conference for pre-ops, post-ops, and individuals considering weight loss surgery?
It's true!
With the mission to bring OH members and the professionals who care together for fun, education, and support, the OH Team hit the road in 2004 and hosted the first National Conference in Dallas, Texas. Over 350 OH members from all parts of the world were in attendance and an additional 75 professionals and 35 vendors.
Earlier that same year, the first official OH sponsored regional event was held in Anaheim, CA at the Hilton Disney complex. More than 250 OH members joined us for an unforgettable and educational weekend and as with all OH events, many friendships were formed.
The OH commitment to ‘making the journey together’ continues on. Over the years our event format has changed, locations have changed, but our mission has remained the same. We remain dedicated to the empowerment, support, and education of all individuals who are fighting against obesity.
