OH is coming back to Atlanta and bringing some sizzle with us!  Join your friends at the  ObesityHelp National Conference in Atlanta this October 5th and 6th at the Atlanta Airport Hilton Hotel! This will be the only OH Conference in 2012, so don't miss it!

We are working to line up some of the best informational and supportive speakers for you. Checkout the list...you'll notice that our very good friend Jeremy Gentles is joining us to provide exercise and fitness tips that we can actually stick with!  We're so glad to have him.

Dr. Connie Stapleton will be joining us as a keynote speaker in your corner. In addition, she will be teaching the Friday Continuing Education for allied health professionals (separate signup through her website). Details to be posted soon for that.

Colleen Cook is making the trek from Utah to support you all and to share her tips! She's the author of Success Habits of Weight Loss Surgery Patients and is a post-op herself, so we're very happy to have her.

We are still confirming the speaking schedule, so there are more to come. OH's own Rusty Martinez will be sharing his journey back to a successful path in his breakout session, and we're very excited and proud of him.

Zumba will be shakin' it and Ron Goss will be spinning the tunes on Saturday night at our closing party/fashion show.

Rumor has it that Bryson Bmoney Jenkins might be performing for us like he did in NY!  THAT would be awesome. He's a post-op and very talented entertainer, and can really liven up the party!  Stay tuned for that info...

We offer three levels of discount; OH support group leaders have their own and will be posting those soon in their signature lines. Another is the Early2012 which is $20 off. The next is a bariatric surgeon code which your surgeons in the Atlanta area who have profiles on our website, will have next week.

The clothing exchange is a spot where our volunteers accept and sort gently used clothing that is donated by our members. With weight loss occurring rapidly in some cases, it's a place to find clothing to get you to the next stage! It's free and open to everyone.

We've missed Mary Jo since she wasn't with us last year, so we're happy to welcome her back in Atlanta! We're also going to be filling up our breakout sessions with dietitians, bariatric surgeons, lifestyle change specialists and more. We can hardly wait!

Is this event going to be better than NOLA?? I was extremely disappointed in that conference. And, I agree with the previous poster...I've seen all of these people speak before...what's new this year?

I'm sorry, but the Atlanta Airport Hilton? Doesn't the OH Staff know that's not the best part of town to have an event such as this? Just a word of caution for any ladies coming alone-bring pepper spray or a bodyguard. There are much safer venues than anywhere around the airport. Stitches South is having a huge event at the Galleria and there is also a nice venue in Gwinnett. There is no way you would get me near the Atlanta Airport, especially for anything that occurs after dark!

What qualifies as High Resolution photo? Only befores I have are the ones taken by my bariatric office.. and they just give me xeroxed copies. I have no other befores.
