    Today was just a nice day...we tried not to worry about anything ...just him and I relaxed together just enjoying each other. I never in my life seen a man get sooo excited over a cup of strawberry icecream...the nurses let him have it and said he could have another later...so each time the nurse walked in he kept saying to her remember 10 oclock tonight I get my ice cream LOL it was so sweet.  It was good to see him smile, I even was able to walk him around the nursing block on the floor the whole way this time without a million stops. Also he actually was able to take a shower, sitting down but he had one, it was just a good day. My heart is really breaking, I just have to tell myself one day at a time, but today was a nice day.

    had to edit this....least he still has his warped sence of humor...just got off the phone with him and he says...get this...my lifes falling apart they ran out of strawberry icecream I had to have vanilla. Im just sitting here shaking my head, welp I love him warped or not.

    You two sound like the best of friends, and the best of all else in a strong and healthy partnership. Keep the faith, Kim. I wish I could offer you some advice about the doctors you're dealing with but if you and your husband are comfortable with how things are going, that's all that matters.     It sure makes us pause to appreciate the sweet little aspects of our lives, doesn't it?   Glad you are having some good days, and hope that today is another in a long string of them!

    Dear Kim
     So Glad to hear he is improving & getting stronger. The Ice Cream story is one we
    really needed around here to appreciate our daily stuff.  Hang in There & hope he
    continues to get strength & can go home soon. Continued Prayers for the Doc's to find
    the right answers to get him healthy.
