Topic: RE: April 14th now 45 days later, I have reasons to smile
My surgery was done on 4/28, and I have only lost 24 pounds. I try not to get discouraged after reading so many people go through slow losses. I was told that the more weight you have to lose, the quicker you lose it. Has anybody heard this?
Topic: RE: I had surgery April ...
I had surgery April 28th. I was reading the main forum and someone post op 3 weeks listed all of these wonderful foods that he could eat. He was responding to a question re protein. I can't have dairy, and only 1 teaspoon of veggies per meal. I'm still on 1 oz. meals and will be until July 10th. Just interested to see if everyones guidelines on eating post op are alot different
Topic: RE: A weight stall at 2.5 weeks ?????
Gosh, everyone sounds just like me. I expect to loose weight everymorning when I weigh, and I know that's just not possible. I'm 3 1/2 wks post op and have lost 20 pounds, but I sure would like to see a quicker loss.

WOW!! I'm also post op April 28 and have only 20 lbs. I had such a hard time losing weight ( actually almost impossible) pre surgery, I hope that doesn't affect my losing time now. I know I have to have patience, and I thank God everyday that I was able to have this surgery!!
    Topic: RE: Feeling very weak
My wls was on April 28th. Every few days I feel wiped out. I take 30 minute walks every morning and then I feel the need to just sit and relax for a short time. Some days I feel like I'm back to normal. I thought the low energy was probably due to such low carb intake. Also, I really dread taking these awful protein shakes, so yesterday I bought Nestle's Quick sugar free and added 1 tsp to my Designers Chocolate drink. I can't really tell if it makes any difference, but can't give up trying! ( can't have milk yet)
