I just got my date last week, July 22, I am having RNY. I am kinda scared, kinda nervous, kinda excited all at the same time.

I'm new to this board and looking at the end of July or early August for Lap Band. Currently finishing up with the 6 month of Doctor visits then need to submit for insurance (pre-approval completed) - July/Aug is when the surgery group said it would be.. :)

Can't wait!

I am having the hardest time quitting too. I am going to get on the patch and hope it helps me. My only wish is my hubby would quite smoking with me. But he has promised to go outside to do it.
Lets just think of it as how much money we can spend on new clothes instead of ciggerates!!! We can do this even if its driving us crazy

I haven't been able to get a date set, yet but I am thinking in either late June or July. There are things I still need to do. I was very , very anxious , nervous and such about 2 months ago . Now it has wore off. If I just would've quit smoking b4 and stuck to it I would've been smoke free over a year, I only made it 2 weeks.
Any one else struggling with smoking??

Hi all. I just got my date today....July 12. Like others, I was hoping for late June because it fit into my schedule better, but something tells me July 12 will sneak up on me!

I got my date of July 21st today. It's longer than I expected. I was hoping for the end of June. I guess God has a different plan for me. This gives me 2.5 months to lose what I can and excersise to increase muscle mass before the surgery. Better get it in gear!
