Thank you Laura8603. I'm doing very well - I'm maintaining the loss - in fact, I'm 14 pounds under goal.  I've never posted a pic of me since I've been on the board but decided to this afternoon. In addition to me celebrating my 4yrs, I'm also celebrating my 50th birthday (on Tuesday)

Keep up the good work everyone!

I come and go as well - but always find myself back here for support, to catch up on the latest, etc.  I don't have access to group meetings, etc. where I live so it helps out a great deal.

It's good to hears that you're still doing well.  I am currently 10 lbs under goal so I guess I'm doing okay too!   Had a weight regain earlier in the year but got back to basics and lost it all plus 3 additional pounds.

What are you doing to lose the 50 pounds? The 5 Day Pouch Test is a great way to get it going.....Just a thought.

    WOW!

Phenomenal! Doesn't it feel great?  Keep up the good work.  I recently went through a weight regain and panicked.....Was up 21 pounds.  Yikes!  Went back to basics and I'm back - lost all but 2 pounds.  Currently at 119 and well under goal (my docs goal was 130 and mine was 125).

You know what?  It was soooooo hard to do.  The carbs really did a number on me and I vowed that once I got it off this time that I would NOT do it again and so far so good......

    Do you work out?
Topic: RE: We're Coming Up On Our 4 Year Mark!
    Hi Laura,

Yes, life is good!  I have, for the most part, maintained as well.  I'm under goal, (currently 125) and I am 5'1"  I'm loving life and I'm healthy!  It really feels great.
Topic: RE: We're Coming Up On Our 4 Year Mark!
As I read your reply I was saying to mself "OMG, she is talking about me!" And I mean,to  the nearest: I got down to 118 and WAS AT 139.6. I went back to basics in february, about 3 weeks ago and I'm down 10 lbs already. Protein shakes and one meal a day.    Talk about spandex, I bet I got you beat!   I have not been to the gym in over a month.  I''m in school and recently completed my comprehensive examination - a very long, intense and stressful period (12 weeks) so during that time I did not even attempt to go.  I just passed 2 weeks ago. I'm ready to go back now.You know, I don't wear short sleeves without another short/jacket covering my arms. Just as you, I would do it again in a heartbeat. My life is so much better.

    Hi Everyone!

Good Morning - thank you for your posting.  I am totally blown away about yoru weight lost success thus far.  I know you are really proud of your progress as well.  One of my biggest fears is to regain the weight back.  Keep up the good work!

That is one of my biggest fears as well - gaining weight.  I walk all day - every day on my job so I don't work out and I do not journal (except in the beginning) - I graze and eat at not so good times - do I understand.  I think the only thing helping me is that since i walk so much daily that is why I'm able to maintain my current weight - but at my expense (bad habits which will hurt in the long run.)  I do maintain the recommended daily protein intake, vitamins, calcium as well as with H20.

Hi - just as Laura said, up your protein and you'll find the weight coming off.  ALso, if possible, increase your exercise.  The two combined will definately make the difference.

    Congrats!  You're doing AWESOME!

Fortunately, I don't have any hanging skin, etc.  so I don't need plastic.........What a blessing!  On another note, I wish I had kept better records of monthly weight loss as you did....I think I missed  a couplle of months record keeping but otherwise, all is well.

Hi - why are you mad?  You've lost over 100 pounds - talk about MAJOR accomplishment...Keep up the good work.  I'm down 84 lbs and 8 lbs under my goal.

I eat protein, protein, protein and drink lots of water and diet iced tea...Sometimes I still need the lift me up (caffein) so I might do 1/2 and 1/2....I work long hours so I have to make sure I get in my meals - which is extremely difficult so I use protein shakes when I can't sit down and eat a normal meal.

Great snacks include cheese, turkey (deli meat) with ww crackers -- fresh fruit, peanut butter crackers....

Good luck and keep us posted, okay?
