10 month mark on the 24th.
Highest: 247
Sugery: 226
10 month mark: 135
Goal: 130 ( doctors goal )
My goal: 120 ( hey I am only 5 foot tall )
I recommend using the daily plate for EVERY thing that goes in your mouth. I too had hit a major stall and the scale hardly moved for 2 months. Wasnt till I logged every morsel that I realized I was eating way over my calorie needs to lose weight. Just because it is baratric friendly, doesnt mean its carb and calorie free ( cheese stick - 100 calories , Kashi bar - 140 calories, etc. ) Once I got back to my recommended calories and contined with the exercise the scale started moving again. Good luck and I hope this helps

59.5 lbs to go
I feel like such a failure. I had been so on track and losing regularly. Then I went on vacation in May to Italy for 15 days. That got me out of the exercise mode and certainly out of the routine with meals. I have found it hard to find my way back. I was exercising every day and now it's maybe once a week. I am also eating all the wrong stuff. I have lost nothing in three months.
Does anyone have some words of advice or motivation to get me back where I need to be? I would love to hear menu suggestions. How do you begin your day in meals? |

Juice Member Since: 09/24/07 [Latest Posts] | Post Date: 8/25/08 7:02 pm Topic: Infections and Needed Surgery for Eroded Lap Band After having lap-band surgery last October, having a port infection for the past 9 plus months, being sick with infection after infection for the past 9 plus months, being in the hospital and nursing home because of the infection, having puss drained through a needle in my abdomen last month, a gauze packing removed from my port site.....finally, my wound healed!!! If I didn't seek help from the Wound Clinic at Mercy Medical Center in Springfield, I more than likely would still have the infection. Now I have an eroded lap band and have to have surgery to have it removed. I lost over 65 lbs. I hate the thought of gaining it all back.
I urge anyone having similar infections that won't clear up to go to a wound clinic. They can help tremendously. In my case, it was a gauze packing inside my wound that caused my infections. |

Check your previous post - I sent you the plan on 6-24-08. I still haven't tried it, but was looking for what I sent you so I could try it. I need to take a ride on the train and see if I can get these last 9 pounds done with - been stuck at the same exact weight every time I weigh for just over 10 weeks now!!! My family tells me that being at the same weight means my body has found it's "happy point," but I want to pu**** one more time before I decide that's what it really is. Oh heck, I just realized I have to copy the plan from my earlier message to print it anyway, so I can paste it here, too. Here ya go!
This is what I was sent when I asked about it awhile back. I hope it helps.
