    Vitamins... How to take.

Just curious how did you take your vitamins after surgery and what kind... We won't be able to swallow them, do u crush??
A lot of people take chewables for the first few weeks, then switch to a good quality prenatal vitamin tablet when they can swallow them. You really should check with your own dietitian though, before buying anything, to be sure you're getting what is best for you.

I'm having surgery on Tuesday an my dietician tol me not to take any until 2 weeks after and then I will be able to swallow them.
Bought some liquid vitamins I found at the health food store, will bring it to hosp and ask before I take them, thought if I added it to my water at least I'd get my vitamins and wate :)
When are you having your surgery?
Monday the 18th countdown on... :)
I took and still take adult gummies, my dr and dietician said ok for me...
I crushed my prenatal vitamins and mixed it into yogurt or applesauce.  I use Healthy Balance Prenatal vitamins from Costco.  I also use Quest brand chewable calcium/magnesium which I buy at a local shop called 'Nutter's.  I also have calcium citrate chews which I bought online at Bariatric Advantage which I take once a day as a treat.  They are like starburst candies.  Also take B12 sublinguals every other day or so.
