     Tonight, Jan. 24 on Global Network News from 5:30 - 6:00 there will apparently be a discussion about possible changes to BC Medical covering the cost for surgery on the 'flap' from the tummy remaining after major weight loss (panniculectomy). WLS patients or hopeful patients may wish to check it out.

    There was nothing on there about BC Medical paying for the panniculectomy, it was a story about a man back east that has lost 200 lbs and has the stomach skin leftover and that the medical plan doesn't cover the cost of getting it removed.

    I watched the 5:00 Global TV Vancouver news, the 5:30 National News, and the Global TV Vancouver news at 6:00.

     Yeah, guess I got bad info ... I was so hoping it would be some good news about this surgery as well as other wls. Shame.
