Hi All,

I am in San Jose, CA and new to this forum.  I am going to see my Kaiser surgeon, dietician, physch on Tuesday.  Crossing fingers that I get approved while on Medi - Cal. 

I am looking for local support groups as Kaiser asked us to seek them out. 

Does anyone know if they have had issues with receiving approval from Kaiser Medi-Cal?

Hi and welcome!
      I belong to a support group that meets in San Jose. New people and their support persons are always welcome. Most of the people in the group either have had or are seeking the duodenal switch, a wls option that Kaiser doesn't tell you about, but again, anyone is welcome.
    I'll send you a pm with more information, and would recommend to any pre-op patient to learn all you can about all the available wls options before making a life-changing decision.
