Topic: Why is OH allowing ads from 1-800 get **** even after they were exposed by The L.A. Times?

I just don't get it. Yeah, I know WLS is big biz...butttttt!

However, after S. Pfeifer (L.A.Times writer) exposed multiple deaths occurring after undergoing lapband surgery at facilities associated with this referral company, I think OH needs to use discretion re whom they accept ads from.

What do you guys think? Answer fast. I expect OH to yank this post...

Hi,
I'm an oldtimer WLS person and would like to know if there are any really good, open support groups in or near L.A.? I had a "takedown" (it couldn't be totally reversed) from a BPD in 89' but still have lots of side effects from it. So, I'd like to attend a group to swap info and get some warm and fuzzies...
