I have good news and I have bad news. The problem is I'm not sure which is good and which is bad.  So here is the news... I gave in and went to McDonalds.  (good/bad?) I ordered:  20 piece McNuggets , 1 Large Fry, 1 double cheeseburger and 3 cookies (good/bad?) I ate all of the above within about a 45 minute timeframe. (Minus half the bun from the double cheeseburger)  (Sorry, Scottie - used honey mustard, not sweet and sour sauce) That was at 4pm.  It is now almost 10pm and so far no gas, no poo****ues.  (good/bad?)    I guess the verdict is  I can eat all the nuggets and fries I want ???  (good/bad?)   I know I shouldn't want gas or diahrea..... but I kinda hoped for some negative reinforcement.....    Geez... I eat one small bowl of Honey Nut Cheerios w/ half-and-half and I'm pooping all night.... I eat 20 fried balls of fat and a tub of greasy potatoes and nothing.   I love my DS !!!! (This I know is good!).   Cindy

HOLY CRAP!!!  LOL!  You are toooooo funny!  I haven't eaten THAT many nuggets from McD's, BUT, I have eaten them AND fries and Big Macs...Just not all at the same time...Every time we go to McD's I make my hubby SWEAR that he'll never let me go there and eat again...He always gives in and lets me have my way!  (Which is also why we have three kids - Wink-Wink!)  I have never had gas or bathroom issues with any McD's food...However, I'm right there with ya on the Honey Nut Cheerios..OMGoodness...PEEEEEEEYYYYYOOOOUUUUU!!!!  The toilet even begs for mercy!  LOL!  The only other thing that bothers me is English Muffins w/peanut butter.  Other than that - It's all good in the hood...LOL!  Talk to you later!

Hugs,
~Darcy

I was gonna ask    "how big is your sleeve???  < CLUNK >"   I am lucky to be able to get down a 9 piece McNugget (with hot mustard sauce) w. a drink!

My doc routinely makes patients 5-6oz, but I asked for something smaller....  so he made me 4 oz.

I was a good eater from the get-go after surgery... I guess my stomach stretched out nicely.  (good?  bad?)

Actually I attributed my good weight loss to never having my body go into starvation mode... I always ate a lot of calories and still do... even on "good days" I eat 3000-4000 calories.  (of course on "good days" those calories are primarly protein and fat!)

Somehow my metabolism went from being broken (thinking every diet was a hunger famine and shutting down) to chugging like a steam engine.  I do exercise so maybe that helps?  I dunno.

With a regular sized stomach if I ate that much in one sitting I'd throw up. I don't know where you're packing it.....LOL
