I've followed your posts and have been amazed at the true love that both you and Kelly had for each other. It carries over in all the posts that both of you made. Thank you for showing me that true love does exist. Kelly is in heaven and you will need to deal with the pain of her loss in your life. Treat yourself gently in this most difficult time.

It's been a long hard fight, and I'm glad at least that the trials and tribulations she has been through are finally over. I wish that they could have ended in a joyous life, but death is another form of healing, and God has granted her what her physical body could not - a true and pure healing of body and soul. Know that even though you may not need to post daily updates on Kelly, this is still your home and you are one of us. Rest, cry, grieve, and feel free to share *your* trials and tribulations with us, as you have Kelly's over the last six months. --BT  Six years postop. All co-morbidities are resolved. This is terrible news and I’m personally at a complete loss for words. You, and countless others here could have not been more supportive of your dear wife. Your efforts and caring were truly inspirational. I can’t imagine how you must feel, but this is personally very troubling for me. Me, who can always seem to find away to compartmentalize terrible news like this. Not this time. This time it’s personal.
Thank you for being there for, Kelly, and for all selfless sacrifices you’ve made. You will serve to be a model for all that came before you on what is possible from a loving supportive spouse. I’m not sure sainthood quite even captures it.
May God be with Kelly and with you and yours.
