Lab help and Vitamin review wanted
Hi
I wanted to see if I can get some input on my labs from some of the experts.
Also see if I can get recommendations on what I need to tweak. Red highlights are the only thing my pcp was concerned about, I see Dr. Crookes next week.

I would keep doing her schedule. You could increase your D3 to 2 capsules a day and retest in a few months. Not sure why your B12 went down. Are you taking 5000mcg every day? Unless you're on blood thinners you might want to increase your K1 to 2 a day. But try to squeeze them in away from vitamin A. Hard to do if you're on 4 vitamin A capsules a day but try to find a way. You might ask about getting ferritin on the next lab order. Ask about supplementing potassium and how much would be safe to take. Your liver function (AST and ALT) are excellent. That's about all I got.

I think that would work with the A and K. Watch the A labs as they get to the top of the range, so you can start cutting back on the number of capsules you take. I only have to take 1 capsule a day now to maintain A at the top of the range. Was taking 4, then 3 for 6 months, then 2 for another 6 months and now 1 for the past year. Sorry, not medical. No idea about the cholesterol.

Triglycerides can vary due to stress or a myriad of other things including genetics. Don't fret about it.
It's important to get your K up, especially if you still have your period. I was running on the low side since Thanksgiving and ferritin was tanked (despite iron and proferrin supplements).
I am now on 1000 mcg K1 and 250 mcg K2 daily. The best formula has been from our VL. I was very low on K and it worked against my iron infusions. It took a couple of months, but I'm happy to say that my K is doing very well and I don't have to go again for iron infusion until August.
There are things that can affect the biocarb test including drinking acidic or carbonated drinks right before the test or being dehydrated. That you have high amounts of red blood cells, that would indicate slight dehydration.
B12 is just fine and many people like it between 1000-1500. Nothing indicates that value is toxic. I feel way better when it's over 1000 and have short term memory problems when it dips below 800.
I take my multi-B complex 3x a week. That has put my B1 and other vits in the normal range.
Keep pushing your D, it's slowly coming up!
Hugs,
Ratkity
