 Hi SmileyJamie,

I noticed that you were having an RNY Revision to DS.  That's what I'd like to do.  Can you tell me if you're happy that you did that and is it an effective revision please?  Any info would be appreciated!

Hi my name is Lesly I am almost done with the requirements from my insurance to cover wls, I am scared of the ds, I did a lot of research on the gastric bypass and for some reason it looks more familiar, but  surgeon recommended ds,  I am very scared I know is the best for me and my family, I have a coming appt with the surgeon again, to make my final decision on which surgery I want  I weight 254 @ 4"11 .

Revision on 02/07/12 with
I will be having a revision from Open RNY (1998) to DS on Feb 7, 2012.  The only thing I am stressed about is the pain when waking from surgery.  I know I will have pain later, but how bad is the pain when you wake up?

My date has been set for March 2nd!!  Seems I've waited so long; kind of feels like any day the doctor's office will call and say, oops it was a mistake.  I will be happy to be on the other side!

 I have my date of April 13. It still doesn't feel real. I have been trying for this surgery for so many years. It is hard to wrap my head around the thought that this is real.
