Can those who have the DS still take NSAIDS or do they have to avoid them like RNY patients?

Thanks

You can take NSAIDS with a DS.  It is one of it's advantages.

One of the (many) reasons I chose the DS was because my ability to function depends on daily NSAIDs. I have severe arthritis, and I take Aleve 3 times a day, every day. I have done so for about 13 years now, 8 of those AFTER my DS.

I'm 9.5 weeks out and am loaded up on them today--I have my period and there is nothing that will take the cramps away like NSAIDS.  So glad I got a DS.
