heating/cooking with protein powders

I've read that heating protein powders denatures the protein and makes it much less readily absorbable.

And I have also read that denatured protein is just as absorbable as a cooked egg, and therefore it is fine to bake with protein powders.  Heating it does not ruin it.

Which is true?

Not really sure. Vitalady says that it's more like the cooked egg analogy--doesn't really change the protein value much.

Thanks for the confirmation.  Cooking with it opens up a lot of doors.
