Got my B12 up to 608

Since I put up a crazy post about my B12 supplement a week ago I've had labs.  I believe my last lab B12 was at 111.  My results from 11/17/14 is 608 .  I happy!!!  My Ferritin turned out to be 10 but my doc gave me an iron infusion right after he drew my blood because this has just been an ongoing issue even pre-op.  I must be consistant with iron supplements!

great job getting your vb12 up!!!!  we must be sisters my ferritin is 11, but I am trying to get it up with RX iron, for me too with the iron on going, Dr said think about infusions, I will be drawn again in 4 weeks

Lots of ppl here have been successful with the carbonyl iron (called tender or gentle) and heme irons.  Taken with vitC of course.  My doc gave me a script for poly-iron (FYI -$62- my Oxford/UHC covered nothing so I bought a Walgreen's Prescription card for $20 & paid $20- for a triple prescription- 90 days).  I am not sure they work for me but they are easier to take lol.  Funny but not funny.  I really dislike taking iron.
