Hi Rhonda, I am 2 weeks post op and have the same problem with protein drinks in general. So far I hate them all, but I'd better find something soon that I can tolerate. Good luck on your wls. Happy New Year, Daisy C.

Hi Eunice, I agree, no one perticipates on the Louisiana Message Board, thats why I use this one. I am 2 weeks post op. My wls was done a Vista Surgical Hospital here in Baton Rouge. Dr Bellanger was my surgery. They were all so wonderful. Happy New Year, Daisy C.

Happy New Year Joy, I live in Baton Rouge. I am 2 weeks post op and I would love to talk to you. You Can E-Mail me www.daicummin@aol.com. I don't know anything about financing wls but if your ins won't pay, try to get a loan. Be sure you research what happens after the surgery. I think I prepared myself more for pre-op than for what to expect after. This has been a journey, but well worth it. Good luck to you! Daisy C

Adrienne...I have a Gazelle too. I am an emotional eater and shove food in my mouth all the time....there is something about Blue Bell ice cream that makes my problems go away. I am pre-op and two weeks to go before the big day. Presently I hang clothes on my Gazelle, I have started to think about other things to depend on besides food. If you have any suggestions, I would love to here them. Thanks, Daisy

Received approval from UHC today....Ya..My prayers have been answered. I have been reading comments from others who have had the surgery. Some good and bad, but overall they would all do it again...I continue to pray that God sees me throught surgery.

Just an update from last week. I completed sleep study, psychologicals & blood work...The dr's office has sent in paper work, but I am still concerned about meeting criteria. Continue to pray for me!
