Day 365 Post Op: ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY TODAY
It has been one year since I have had my WLS. I can't believe it has been one year.
My scale victory is 55 pounds gone. That is 79% weight loss. BMI from 39 to 28. I still have 15 more to lose and I know it will be tough but with so much gone in a year, I KNOW I can do it.
My non-scale victory is size 10. I was size 20. Bra size has gone from 42DD to 34C.
How am I today?? I need a fill LOL ...and will get one next week. My weight loss has been slow but then again I have been slacking a bit too. I am maintaining though which is something I NEVER thought I would be able to say. I am aware of what I am doing wrong and accepting my actions. I am trying not to blame myself for my weaknesses but I am also trying not to excuse anything I do either. It is a thin line as they say.
I would do this all over again. It has been a crazy journey but one I am so thankful to have taken. I haven't felt this good about myself in years.

11/19/2009- 1st fill of 4 cc's
12/15/2009- 2nd Fill of 1 cc
01/28/2010- 3rd Fill of .5 cc
04/01/2010- 4th Fill of .3 cc
Ultimate Goal Weight: 140
1st fill 4cc, 2nd fill 1.5cc 3rd fill 1.5cc 4th fill .5 Total 7.5 cc in my 11cc Realize Band.
Reached 1st goal weight 158 on 6/8/10, My Starting weight 235
Hit final goal of 145 10/25/10
Current weight 143

Oh my goodness, has it really been a year already Stacy? 79% of your weight is gone forever. FOREVER is pretty damn amazing my dear. You should be really proud. Designer dresses, 12 minutes miles...these are some very huge WOW accomplishments.
And as far as that line goes. It's actually a little thicker than you think. Being human, we just perceive it as thin.... I know cause I ride it everyday!
