I'm decluttering.. no longer have the band... giving away Bandwagon book

I have this book by Jean M. "Bandwagon" ... and want the book to go to a new home ... the first person that PM's me gets it..   I don't need the book as I don't have the band anymore and had revised to bypass 4 months ago.  It is a good book and very well written.

I may not send it right away, though, but will within a few days along with some holiday gifts that I need to mail out ...

246 in Dec 2008 before banded 1/28/09 at 215 lbs, band crapped 9/09 at 170 lbs and struggled with it and regained to 203 revised to bypass on 8/1/11 and am very happy.

BURN that book! Lol.

I'm sure Jean does have some helpfull info in there. But considering the way Jean BANDSTER BASHES  and BLAMES THE BANDSTER for band complications, I could not with good conscious recomment that any bandsters read it! :-(

I'd recommend it. Jean tells how the band works, how to live with it, what can go wrong, how to minimise the risk.

Never in the book or on here does she say it is always the bandster's fault. She does quite correctly say that some banded people do not help themselves.

Kate she has blamed me for my band problem. She has blamed others on here as well. The witch even said I was lying about not getting restriction!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Of course I never see what she posts anymore since she blocked me, which works for me! :-)

Kate, do you have this book? Can we buy it here in UK?

Evelyn, I bought it  from  America - Jean quotes me in it so I  wanted to see it! So you can get it from. Amazon.com as opposed to .co.uk. But postage is quite heavy. If you go in to a UK board, there is one often mentioned.  We aren't allowed to post other sites on here  but google ukgastricbands, go on that site to post- operation chat. There are threads on there about books. Good site incidentally. Very positive. i have really moved over there now.

Incidentally we are meeting again in reading on the 3 rd 'March.

Its an awesome book, by a wonderful person that offers information for bandsters. :)  Thank you for helping someone else have access to something that may offer information to help them succeed. :)
