Next month is my three year anniversary and to celebrate I'm running in my first ever 5K.  This is a long time coming.  I have been hitting the gym hard 5-6 times week 90 minutes a day... for well over a year now and I think I'm ready.  I just can't believe that I will be doing this.  3 years ago I was 354 lbs and could barely climb a flight a stairs without a breaking a sweat.  Now I am running a 5K!!!  My llife is million miles from where I started.  I thinner, I'm healthier, I'm running!!!!  I'm 154lbs thinner, my blood pressure and cholesterol are wayyyy down.  My BMI went from 54 to 30!!!!  I went from a size 30 to a size 14.  I still have more work to do but I'm happy and I'm healthy and this is why I had my surgery!!!  So even if I don't lose another pound I consider myself a BIG success!!!!

I am also excited because I moved and found a new job in August.  I got new insurance.  I was afraid to find out if my new insurance coverd WLS and fills.  Well today I finally sucked it up and called.  Well YEAH!!!  They cover every thing my old insurance does and the office co-pays are cheaper!!! Yeah me!!! So it all worked out for me!!!
