GES 2/21/13 normal, except for food backing up into esophagus, manometry 4/9/13 severe achalasia, motility 0% consult with Dr Pellegrini 5/30 to determine surgical plan

I noticed beachbunny deactivated. What happened there? The last I knew, she was having some left shoulder pain related to her recent surgery and was concerned that it wasn't dissipating. I went back to check on her and she was deactivated.

And Renee Kennedy... she was having problems and then just disappeared from the board.

I often wonder what happens to people and hope that they're okay.

Would you please share why you are revising.I was banded 11/08 and seriously considering the sleeve now. My best friend is doing the same thing. she was banded 2/09. i have had success but life has not been good for the last 2 years-lots of stucks and pouch dialations. i need to lose at least 75 more lbs but at this point im slowly gaining it back--in the last year i have gained back 40- i cant really eat what i am supposed to eat, so i eat what i can-sliders, garbage!! not to mention i was on 5 rounds of steroids and cant workout because of a serious ankle injury and lack of motivation.

thanks for ANY help you can give!!

No, that's not the same one. She was having problems and was really frustrated... and then she just went *poof*... disappeared.

I don't know why it bothers me... I guess I just don't like to think of someone being in pain and feeling alone. But I just have to assume they're all fine and dandy, I guess!

Beachbunny is my friend on LinkedIn and hence how I found this forum.
She is doing great but was discouraged by several people on this site and just had enough.

I think she is recovering well. I will tell her you asked for her.

Like Tetrarose and beachbunny, disappearance does not necessarily mean problems. Several appear every now and then, often on the Bandgrads board, to announce anniversaries.

Of the small number of Brits who used to post here, some have retreated to less drama laden boards, as I do during my periodic absences.

But I agree that there are some who were struggling on some way and I hope absence does not mean they are having problems.

Highest ever 290, Banded - 248 Lowest 139 (too low - deliberately regained to 150.
Blip (regain of 27lbs) during 2010. Dealt with (after leak repair).
Nov. 2010 set new (more realistic!) comfort zone of 150-160
Dress US size 26 to 8/10 (5ft 4ins tall) 2.8cc in 4cc band.

Beachbunny is my friend from linkedin and she is doing fantastic. She got tired of the (drama) on here. She said she just felt this site was not what she hoped it would be. I found this site via her, and after a few days, I wanted to leave too but I have found support here from some and hence I will stay.
