Lap Band removal

Any suggestions on reputable doctor's in the Houston, TX area that remove bands?  I don't want a revision or a conversion.  I just want this horrible thing out!

Hi, Kate!  Stick with it.  I am trying to lose my last 4 pounds, when I do so I will be 150 lbs.  They say at 5' 5 1/2" I should weigh 130 lbs pounds but 150 lbs is where I would feel most comfortable.  At 154 lbs, I am already a size 8.  Don't give up you will get there again!

Whatever you do, do NOT go to Dr. Pilcher in San Antonio. He cut a hole in my stomach by accident, removing my band. Terrible aftercare, as in non existent....

I'm so incredibly sorry that you suffered so much from this inferior product.

My hope is that in the future there will be a HUGE class action lawsuit that will put an end to this crap.

Have you had any luck finding a surgeon, Cau_lady? Any updates to your situation? I hope you were able to find someone to help you and are feeling better.
