Ethicon band being removed from the market - Finally!

For those who do not know, this was previously the Allergan bands and prior to that it was Inamed.

Would be awesome if they went back and paid medical bills for removals

I read on another site that Realize had already sent out notices to surgeons that they were no longer manufacturing them anymore either, so hopefully it's a double whammy and there is no longer any bands being made from now on!!

Now they need to start paying us for our pain and suffering!!

I made a mistake, I thought it was the Inamed/Allergan/Apollo band that was removed.  That's wrong information, it's the Realize band that has been discontinued.

But, one down, one to go to keep obese people safe.

WOW. I wonder if this is the reason dr's have been pushing me to get the gastric sleeve instead of the band!!! I had NO idea, thank you for this post!
