Awesome, I'm really excited about this, I know we all need to help each other and most of the groups are so far away. Looking to start a group for men & women who have had Bariatric or who are looking to have surgery. To share their experience's and support  one another in a relaxed no pressure atmosphere. Maybe in a church hall or a small coffee shop, in the Greater Bellingham Ma. Area.  They didn't know what to do, so they sent me to the unit and as soon as I got off the elevator I told the nurses that they had 3 minutes to get the doctor and not on the phone ( to my room ) or I was walking out the door. He was there in 1 minute with the head nurse and they were taking out the saline in the band then he made me drink a small cup of water that went down OK. He told me it was he excess saline and the swelling, he was very reassuring and I was comfortable. I was told I'm going home Wed. I'm supposed to pass gas ? Well that's not working for me for some reason? I've burped enough for a lifetime. The pain is very manageable, my throat is on fire but I keep taking VERY LITTLE ice chips enough to just wet m throat. I was told I wasn't supposed to but I can't breath in if I don't! The air in this place is so dang dry.. OMG I can't wait to get home tomorrow and sit in my easy chair or walk my block just get me home!..

Omg, I can't describe what I am feeling. Is this normal, I'm not afraid, or nervous really more like wired for sound. Wide awake. The hospital called and said see you at " 4Am " I was like ( What you talking about Willis ) they said I'm the first surgery of the day.. Yippee , the first time In my life I don't want to be first and I am.. LOL.. I just wanted to say THANK YOU to everyone out here not only those who have teamed up and have been a great help in my journey this far but to everyone who's not afraid to stand up and post all the things they do so that many may benefit from your post. I'll be back to let everyone know how it went. Till then Thanks again..

 I'm in Blackstone and I agree a small group to share with and support one another would be ideal for this area.. I finished my pre op appointments today and Good Lord Willing will be done and out of surgery by Noon time on 3-8-11.. So if you want to get a small group together, I would love to help get that going.
