granny is coming down the 25 her appt is the 26th,but i have talked to her and shes fine with trying to have one early july and hopefully one later when shes down

well bless my granny heart - you're all so thoughtful! lol   I was telling Sondra that since we have had so many new losers on the bench in the last little while that people are probably pretty keen to have one sooner than the end of July.  So go ahead and plan without me for July 7th (or whatever works best for you guys) and maybe we can still have a get together on the 25th (it's a wednesday) in the evening..   I have to drive back on the 26th after my appt b/c I am picking up my bestie from the airport on the 26th and she is eager to get "home"  She lives in  Yellowknife now and only gets in once a year so time is precious for her

SO.  I am thinking of calling Andrea tomorrow to see who I should talk to about getting a meeting room (preferably at the Vic).  I doesn't hurt to ask, even if she could point me in the right direction on who to speak to or what channels to take.... or has anyone had this conversation with her?  I know she is busy (trying to find me a surgery date lol) so I don't want to bug her if I don't have to.

or does anyone have any ideas for a meeting room in a hall or rec center, people said they would chip in - we could make them pay.... lol

I would love to come to a Meet & Greet also....I can't make it to the 7th..I will be enjoying the sun in Jamaica!!  But, I would be able to go to one on the 24 th or 25th....

 So is the meet and greet happening next weekend?   When and where? 

I just went and looked up prices for picnic area.its $40.00 for a four hour period at most of the parks,including Assiniboine park.any ideas where we can have it.
