So I know some of you are going for appointments/ surgery soon and wondered if you think of it could you ask about whether the criteria has opened etc. I know you have lots on your minds but I am hoping to hear some news. Not sure how else we will hear anything.

Sorry I can't be at the Meet and greet tomorrow. Hubby works until 8pm and by the time I got to Winnipeg you guys would be leaving. One of these days....

 criteria hasn't opened as of last week. I spoke to Andrea, she says the wait is about 2.5 years from acceptance letter, unless criteria opens. She said they hadn't heard from the province at this point.

It's really disappointing to hear that the government still hasn't provided support to the WLS program. Not sure what they are waiting for. I was at least hoping to hear that they had started doing men. Oh well, still waiting.....if I had $6000 I would be gone to Mexico.
