Kidney stones

Hi everyone been a long time since I have been on here.
Wanted to caution everyone about something. Thursday I am having a surgery to try and remove kidney stones, two biggest are 8mm and 10mm and I have two small ones. The urologists said that the gastric bypass surgery causes my body (everyones) to absorb oxalates that cause stones differently. I would have still had the surgery but if I knew this was something to watch for before they got so big it would have been nice...

Hi Hope you are doing well after surgery. Kidney stones can also be caused by not getting in enough fluids. Yes they are something to watch for like the gall bladder. Hope you are doing well otherwise. Yes it has been a long time.
