�I live in Macomb Twp.,MI and am looking for a good plastic surgeon for my tummy tuck.
I am looking to have my surgery at Wm. Beaumont Hospital Royal Oak. I �need to know if you had a good surgeon and how your surgery turned out. �How would you recommend ??

I had Vincent Dinick to my tummy tuck, including the vertical in 2008.  I couldnt be happier with the results.  Sometimes I think he tends to leave the drains in a bit longer than other surgeons, but he doesnt want the fluid to make a pocket and look like a pooch/pouch or whatever.  He is really good and has a great bedside manner.  you can PM me if you need more info.  He works out of Barix in Ypsi, but its worth the 45 min drive for sure!

p.s.  You can also call the beaumont referral line for a list of PS that work out of their hospital and go from there.  The key question will be do they have experience with WLS patients.

I used to live in Warren and now live in Interlochen.  I've heard so much good about Dr. DiNick, that when my time comes, I'll travel downstate to him for my surgery.  He has the experience with rapid weight loss patients and from what I've heard, does an absolutely wonderful job.  Jody from TC just had hers done this year and seems to be very happy.  You could pm her and see what she has to say too.  I agree with BoxerMom, it's worth the 45 minute drive to Ypsi.

I had mine done this past February with Dr Hing from Ypsilanti, he also goes to the Bariatric center.  He is wonderful, very good at explaining things.  He makes sure you understand everything and his staff is wonderful also.  I did my initial consult with him at the Barix center in Holland but traveled to Ypsi for surgery. 

Dr Daniel Sherbert did mine,  he is West Bloomfield and he goes to Beaumont.

I met with Dr. Dinick and thought he was wonderful.  I had my surgery scheduled for March 12, 2010 but work made me cancel due to major events at work. I will definitely re-schedule with Dr. Dinick.  He is very easy to talk to, specializes with weight loss patients, and has a great reputation. He also has an office in Novi.  If your insurance doesn't cover your surgery, his office in Novi is a great alternative. I was scheduled for Ypsi.
