Pre-State-Fair Weigh-in--what are your fave good-for-you foods on a stick?

Hi All:

Time to weigh in again, tho I might be the only one owning up.  That's okay, I need to do this for myself. 

Starting weight:  298.4
Last week: 141.8
This week: 140.1
Loss of 1.7 lbs this week

Pretty good week for me, even tho I did eat some stuff I shouldn't have.  But this is the rest of my life, right?  Into each life some french fries must, occasionally, fall. 

I did not run a lot of miles this week, coming down to the wire for my half-marathon on Sunday, Aug 26th.  I am starting to get very nervous about this.  Mileage was only 13.7 for the week, that's horrible!!  I sure hope I"m ready for this half--I guess next week's posting will tell the tale.

My favorite "healthy" fair food-on-a-stick is the grilled shrimp skewer from over by the animal barns.  It's quite tasty--lots of protein!   Hope you all have a great week.

 I am staying very far away from the Fair, however, I have been known to enjoy a corndog....Well, I usually throw away at least half of the batter portion, then wonder why I bought the thing in the first place....
