On April 25th of last year I had my surgery at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Dr. Fernandez and his staff were and are wonderful. I am at a normal weight and weigh between 135-139 on any given day. I have stopped weighing so much. I no longer take medicine for high blood pressure, diabetes, GERD or elevated lipids. I have less joint pain and can touch my toes. My life is the same...it didnt solve my day to day problems but it did make me healthier and to feel better. I have been working in the yard and doing things that would have been uncomfortable for me. Best wishes to all of you who have had the surgery, are thinking about it...or have it planned. Take Care!
