MEDICAID AND MEDICARE SURGEONS LIST!

Hello Members,

On a daily basis we get calls from members in desperate need of surgeons that will accept Medicaid and or Medicare for Bariatric surgery.  It breaks our hearts when we have to say "we don't know of any surgeons in your state we can refer you to". 

Can you please help us? If you know of any surgeons in your state that accepts Medicaid and or Medicare, will you list their:

maybe someone could do a survery with the state medical association in each state.  perhaps they would have a list of doctors that do bariatric surgery and accept Medicare and Medicaid. Also a survery of major hospitals might provide some of that information as well. take care, jacki

 I believe Dr. Onopchenko @ Atlantic Care Regional Medical Center in South Jersey accepts Medicaid. 1-888-569-1000 or 1-609-569-1000.  This is not his office number, but they can help you with your questions. Be blessed!

I think you are right, I am pretty sure he does take it, also there are some new surgeons in Southern Ocean County at SOCH, you could try there too.

I believe my Dr. will take Medicaid or Medicare. Dr. Ibrahim Ibrahim. Please refer to Derrick his office manager.

Obesity Treatment Center, University Hospital in Newark, NJ, Dr. Asha Bale is the surgeon there, there may be others.
