 Canada Member Since: 11/05/11 [Latest Posts] | Post Date: 12/27/11 6:35 pm Hi guys, I've got to admit that I have been reading alot on here and reading your posts about your experiences. I feel like I have gotten to know a couple of you intimately. Im in the boat with you folks, hoping to get the surgery sooner rather than later, and still nervous as a long tailed cat in a room full of rockers. I am in the lower BMI so that is good news, 35.6. I didnt get a letter about Jan 6th so I guess this isn't my month. That really depresses me. I wanted to get this show on the road. Right now I am having reactions to my BP meds and cant take either Lipitor or Crestor because of the reactions I have from them. I know that with the weight gone the need for these medications are gone. I spent a lot of time soul searching since I got my referral, worrying about the liquid diet, and doing all this and not changing my own habits. I hope that I get a letter soon, with my session date, and I cant wait to hear about the patients in the January session and their success. You are my window into a new life that I cant wait to get into ! All the best to you all, 2011 is OUR YEAR!!!! Wanda |

You will not get a letter for the group meeting until you have your first session with Rhoda & Releen. How long has it been since your referal went in? If it was recently, I've heard that there is a 2 year waiting list at the moment. It won't be 2011... 2012 is our year. Anyway, Good Luck with it. I have started my 2 week liquid diet today. I have an app. on Jan 13th. Decided to start a couple days early to lose the 5 lbs. I gained since my last app. Terrie   |

I will be thinking of you for sure on the the 13th, while I work away at the HSC. Good luck on it all. I think the liquid diet got to be the worst part. Sticking with a full liquid diet for two weeks before the surgery is gonna be hard for me.. AFter the surgery I can see it being a bit easier, as you are sore and what not from the surgery, but before will definatly be hard for me. I got my referral a few months ago and sent in the same day. I know that one of the girls, is apparently expecting and she is trying to get alot of sessions done before she goes of on Mat leave. I know there has to be a huge list right now. I hope to find out this week or next when I will have my meeting with R and R. I remember thinking about going to ON years ago to have it done. I have this vision of me getting healthy finally. I wanna be a big time loser! Thanks for the support, You too Mary. I will be watching you all! Wanda |

I've never had a stocker before...LOL I still don't know my surgery date. The 13th. is just a meeting with R & R. After my 2 week trial run on the liquids. I think you only have to do 1 week liquids before surgery. Good Luck I hope you hear something soon. Terrie |
