Hi All,

I am new to this website, I am having my surgery on Mar 20 in Mexico with Dr. Almanza. I am going by myself so I am a little scared and nervous. I had a great talk today with a woman who had her sleeve done in Mexico so I feel a lot better.

If you know anyone wanting to go at the same time as me I would love a sleeve buddy. lol.

I had my sleeve done Sept 9, 2011 in Guadalajara Mexico.  I had no complications and have lost 65 lbs so far. I would do it again in an instant.  It is very scary, but so worth it.  I am no longer diabetic, and I feel great.  I am halfway to my goal, and it has been a dream come true for me.

I had my sleeve done in Halifax on Aug 16/11.  I too am no longer diabetic and I've lost about 55 lbs since my surgery.  I have to say I agree wholheartedly with you that I would do it agaIn in a heartbeat!  No complications here either.
