Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone could recommend a surgeon in NY who does the Duodenal Switch? Any help is greatly appreciated.

 The nearest one that I am aware of is in Plattsburgh. Don't know his/her name but I will get it for you.

if you go to www.dsfact.com and then you click on surgeon list you for NY state and also NJ, you can get a list of local surgeons.  From what I could see, there are 2 in NYC - Dr Roslin at Mt Sinai and Dr Inabinet at I forgot what hospital but in NYC and Dr Greenbaum in NJ.

I hope this helps.

If you decide to have an RNY, my surgeon Marc Bessler at Columbia Presbyterian is the best but he doesn;t do the DS.
