Need a Gym buddy in Suffolk County (Long Island)

I am looking for a gym buddy to go to the gym with.  I have a membership to Planet Fitness.  I would like to get back into the gym to help me lose weight, so I can have the surgery.  I go here and there with my neighbors but they don't stay as long as I like.  I get discouraged very easily and then I get into a depression.  I have a little support team and they even forget that I cannot eat what they can.  Thank you

I'm in Medford.  Finally just had my surgery.  Once I am cleared to go to the gym, I would like to go.  It's been a rough year and a half for me.
