try Dr. Dirk Rodriguez 513-559-2545.  He is an excellent surgeon, and accepts other surgeon's pt, and does accept medicare.  He works out of Deaconess Hospital in Cincinnati Ohio. He did my open RNY 9-07.

I managed to find this list of medicare approved bariatric facilities here in Ohio.   I made the call today to get my first meeting at Mt.Caramel West in columbus.   I am excited.

Dr Frederick Casan... University of Toledo Medical Center in Toledo... had my gastric bypass there.. medicaid approved and my hernia repair and paniculectomy was approved by medicaid and also done by Dr. Casan.

Dr Brian Lane is no longer in Bowling Green, he is in Toledo Ohio at the University of Toledo Medical Center. The phone number is 419-383-3759. He does accept Medicaid and medicare. I know they only cover certain surgeries but he is great to work with. Paramount Advantage (part of medicaid) approved my surgery the day after all paperwork was submitted!
