I wish I had months ago, I am here to find new friends, and helpful idea's , and kind advice. I am having my RNY in March with Dr. Patricia Choban from Mid Ohio Surgical associates. Anyone else have her? I've heard wonderful things.All my pre-req's are done except for my sleep study and that's tomorrow night.  I know the road ahead will be long. I am divorced, live alone and am finally going to start living for me. I look forward to hearing from you. Feel free to message me. She's very nice and my daughter loves her. Their business is really booming and they have been very busy. I guess that's a good sign. Well, got to run. Good luck with your test and welcome again.  Lima, OH Member Since: 08/05/08 [Latest Posts] | Post Date: 1/29/09 12:55 pm Welcome and congrats on your upcoming surgery. I had mine on November 17th in Toledo and I am very happy I did it! Good luck on the sleep study. I had one done a year ago and found out I had severe sleep apnea. It wasn't exactly easy to sleep all hooked up to the wires, but I needed the CPAP and it definitely helped me feel better. Now, since the surgery I am hoping that I will be able to get off it once I lose some more weight. I have lost 45+ pounds since my surgery and have lost about 58 from highest weight. It's great that you are taking the time to take care of you. I am finally starting to do the same thing.

My sister had the Sleep Apnea terrible and after her RNY ,2 years later, 120 pounds later, she never has to use the CPAP! So, good luck to you on that. .....Renee |
