    I can't believe it!  I just got the call, I got approved by OHIP for my panni removal. I am upgrading to the full tummy and my arms at the same time.  Now I just have to come up with $6800.00 for it.

    My one year anniversary is next week, and I have lost 158.6 pound so far. 

    I think I could fly right now!

    I went in for a consult  they measures my over hang belly.  I had a letter from my family doctor listing all the times that I had sores, rashes, infections etc. A list of the prescriptions that i needed for my problems.


    I saw the ps Dec 21st. My family doctor faxes her letter January 5th.  Found out today I was approved.

     It would have been around 8000 - 10000 per area.  So around 20000 for both areas

    I am so happy for you because I know that this is what you wanted. So sorry I didn't make it down for girls night out but I was so sick and I didn't even msg you to tell you I couldnt make it. Please let me know when you are having your surgery so I can be sure to come see you. Did you make it to Collingwood?

    Congrats, Traci!

    If I may ask, when did you first start having skin problems?  I'm 7 months out, lost about 95 lbs. and haven't had any issues (yet).  It's awful having to hope for medical problems to get the surgery you need.  PS should be part and parcel with the WLS.  Sometimes I wish we had insurance like they do in the States, where it's the insurance company that pays and not the public health system ... but only in this particular case.
