Good morning everyone.  Barb your snapper picatta sounds divine.  Tanya good for your DH for joining the gym (you starting gym domination, one family member at a time?) and tell him even better on him for stopping smoking (the first few days are hell, but it does get better quickly) Just don't take that first puff, that has kept me smoke free for over 10 years.

Today it's warm pool domination, then home to sort out the basement which can take all week.

My goodness Tanya you are a good example for your DH, first quitting smoking and then joining a gym.  Yeah for being 8 years smoke free.

Yes .... you guessed it !!

B = Protein  and Boost

s = Chicken Broth

L= Boost and Protein

s = Beef Broth (discovered yesterday, that it is MUCH better tasting if 1/3 bottle of RUM extract      is added to it

D = Protein  and Boost

s = Beef or Chicken Broth

BT= Boost and Protein

Am I in a rut or what ?   ..... yesterday seemed to be my first difficult day ..... so far I had not been feeling hungry and had not been craving anything .... but yesterday ( day 6 ) I seemed constantly to be thinking of food, especially ones that I am not likely to every be able to have again ... i.e. a whole bag of chocolate chip cookies ..... I put myself to sleep in the afternoon for a LONG nap and that seemed to help .... once I go up, I was o.k. again !!!  ..... and so far today, I am feeling just fine !!!!

I know this time is difficult, but it will pass.  I have never heard of adding rum extract to beef broth - interesting.  I did add sriracha to my beef broth during the OPTI phase.

We were allowed fresh lemon and lime so sometimes I would add that to the broth, it helped to have something fresh for a change as we were not allowed any vegetables.  Lemon pepper garlic and lime pepper were nice combos too. You can also try different brands of broth.  Hang in there!
