Multivitamin post-op
I am on prenatal multivitamin and my surgery is on Friday what is everyone taking post op?

I take Bariatric Advantage found at rexall. I take it 2x/day. It's cheap too! Today I went in and bought a bottle paid under $10 even though the sign said 15.99.

I buy the Opurity multi and another B12. It is expensive but the results have been good and I like the taste. I experimented with a few different brands and settled on this one.

My center recommends Centrum 50+ chewables http://www.centrum.com/centrum-silver-chewables for the first few weeks post op (then to switch to Centrum Womens 50+), along with vitamin D drops, vitamin b12 and calcium citrate chewable.

When I went to my nutrition class at TWH, we were told that they were going to be changing the Centrum Women's 50+, so it will no longer have the recommended amount of iron (I think it was iron anyway). She had us strike it off the list of recommended multivitamins.
Have you heard anything about this?

Yes it is true. Centrum is no longer a recommended multi for us to take because of the lack of iron. :-)
