I am thinking about getting a fitbit just wondering if any of you have one if so are you happy with the product and do you recommend having one? Or is it a waste of money?

Love mine. I had a zip, but it kept annoying me with the battery that I had to replace often. I have the flex now and love it, wear it 24/7

I have had a fitbit for a year or so, when I first started on this journey and I love it!  I actually bought one for my hubby and my mom and dad too!  Now that I have had the surgery, 5 days ago, I am going to really enjoy the benefits of the fitbit.  It will bring out the competitor in me, in beating my previous days steps, etc plus you can challenge friends online.  I think its an excellent investment!

I have a Misfit Shine, and I love it.  Wearing it reminds me to get up throughout the day and walk around the office.  I also like the sleep monitor function.  I haven't taken it swimming yet, but its ability to monitor swimming and other activities like cycling is one of the reasons I chose this one.  Also because it is so cute, and can be worn in different ways.

I have a Misfit Shine too - best little piece of wearable technology out there!

What colour is yours?  I got mine in Topaz because it came with the sport band, clippy, and the pendant.  I find it goes nicely with almost all of the clothes in my wardrobe.

Mine is light blue and I also have the sport band (that I never take off), the clippy (that I've never used lol), the black lace-type pendant (which I have also never worn because it is WAY too long/big for me, unless I want to wear my Misfit adjacent to my bellybutton). I've had it for a couple of years and I just noticed the other day that I have somehow scratched the face of it, right at the 12:00! BOO!!

Of course, this does mean that I get to replace it, perhaps with one of their awesome new colours. OH, and I want the silver band too. I also like the silver flower blossom necklace, but it looks really long (read: at my bellybutton again), so we'll see!

I wouldn't ever consider getting a different brand - I love the Misfit Shine.

I purchased a Fit*****arge 4 months pre-op and I wear it 24/7 - LOVE IT!

It is a valuable tool for me.  Now post-op - I've started to use the silent alarms for my vitamin/supplement schedule.

I am absolutely in love with my FitBit. I've gone from minimal walking to average of 8k a day.

Also looking forward to using the silent alarm for vitamin reminders when I'm post-op.
