Optifast

I was just wondering how much people lost on opti before surgery.. Like how many weeks were you on it and how much did you lose.. I start my three week opti in 15 days :/ looking for some inspiration

13.4 pounds in two weeks.  The hospital didnt weigh me before surgery so im going by the weight 2 days before surgery before i left for Toronto could have been a little more but wasnt weighed.

Two weeks on Opti - as of today I'm down 15lbs and have 3 days to go until surgery so maybe another pound or two by Friday? Average seems to be about a pound per day depending on starting weight. Good luck to you :)

I started opti weighting 249. On day 8 i was down 17lbs. my scale doesn't work right so no clue what i ended up dropping. I am a fairly active person.

I was on opti for 13 days! Lost 12lbs and 8.5inches!

hubby is also on opti, same time frame, lost 18lbs and 4.5 inches!!

i actually didn't mind the opti, but used extracts constantly!! My favourite was banana/chocolate or coconut/chocolate 

I was on Opti for 2 weeks, could only handle 3 not 4 per day, but I was down 15lbs before surgery.

I don't remember how much I lost, but please do not get discouraged if you do not lose on Opti, or do not lose as much as you think you should on Opti.  Opti is designed to shrink your liver  to give the surgeon more room to move around when he does the surgery.  As long as you stick to your clinics rules, you'll do this.  You may lose weight on Opt, but if you don't, it's nothing to worry about.

3 weeks on optifast started at 310.4, day before surgery I was 293.6 = 16.8 loss

They didn't weigh me before surgery

Today is one week out of surgery. Current weight as of my official weigh in day (Monday) is 286
