freezing Optifast

Hi, everyone.

I'm excited to say that tomorrow is my pre-op appointment at TWH and also the day I start my two weeks on Optifast.

I have a question. I live two and a half hours out from TWH, and since my appointment is at 11am, I expect to be drinking my lunch shake at the hospital. I know everyone says they're better cold, and I don't have anything neat like a blender bottle to make them in, so I was hoping it would be acceptable to freeze a shake overnight and bring it with me. Hopefully it would be thawed, but not too warm, by lunchtime tomorrow. Would that work? Or should I just suck it up and make a fresh one at the hospital?

Thanks!

I think I'd make one at the hosp -- but take a baggie of crushed ice to pop in it!
