Valentine's Day!! Surgery Day!!

Woohoo!! I have done it.... it's the last day of opti today and I have survived. I have to admit I am going to miss it a bit as I have not found it too hard. I only suffered a really bad headache on day 1 and only mild ones when I was due for a shake after that. Peppermint tea has been my go to drink and I have found it has helped with my bad breathe.
Tomorrow also marks 4 months post op for my hubby and he has been doing awesome. I am looking forward to joining him on this journey and can't ask for a more supportive man then him. He just keeps saying if he can do it... so can I as I have more will power and determination then him. It makes it easy for me as I do all the cooking here at home for him and have adjusted to it really well.
So looking forward to this journey!

I still have my appt on March 17th at TWH, however Lorraine is out of the office until this coming Friday so not sure if I can move my appt to Guelph or not! Hopefully I will get some good news then.

Yea Lorraine only works Mondays and Fridays. If you meet your surgeon in March I am hearing surgery will usually scheduled 3 months away... and then people ask to be on the cancellation list from there. If she is willing to do it ... you may benefit from having your surgery done in Guelph.
