My surgery went very well, other than gas pain and the not so comfy hospital bed, I can't complain. I was up early getting my walks in, met my fluid requirements, no pouch pain. The Doctor's and nurses were fantastic at Guelph General. It was a very good experience.

Glad to hear everything went welll. Since technically its Wednesday in the wee hours, it was 2 weeks ago today I had my surgery in Guelph. The staff was amazing I agree!

And yes, I can relate to the not so comfy bed, couldn't wait to get home to my bed and sleep.

Get some rest, and wishing you a healthy recovery.

Best wishes.

I'm so happy for you Sonja. The liquid stage is suiting me just fine. Sleeping in your own bed is so much better. Good luck.

My bed at Guelph was my only complaint! It was so short it was like it was a kids bed. Good thing I'm only 5'3. Other than that it's an amazing hospital for sure.

Good luck with your recovery!

I see you had your surgery at guelph? Was there a big back log at toronto western? I just went to the tw orientation session in March, was wondering if its faster to go to guelph?

There was. They gave the option to have surgery at Guelph and I took it. I don't know if they still have that option or not. All my follow up appts are with TWH still.
