Hi everyone!

thank you for all the support you have given me in my time of crisis. i appreciate every one of you. even the ones *****ad and posted nothing. because you gave me a moment of your time.

i just wanted to tell everyone that i am back on track and have re-booked my surgery.

September 5th. 8 am. first surgery of the day.

i have to do another physical and another pre-op. but i don't have to start from the beginning again which i was worried about.

i think by then my family and myself will be more able to go forward in good conscience it is just to soon to be in a hospital after my dads passing.

Thank you everyone.

I may not be there yet, but I'm closer than I was yesterday!

You have been through a lot and I remember how you struggled with going forward with the surgery while your Dad was in hospital. September will be here before you know it. Your Mom will be able to help you after surgery. Please be kind to yourself while you grieve. Take the time to enjoy your summer and prepare yourself for the new life you will have after surgery. Turn to your family and definitely us for support. Post on the menu thread, we are here for you. For me I used to turn to food as a comfort, now I have to find new coping strategies and to always have a support system in place. Let us be part of your support system. Hugs.
