I am kinda frustrated with the tracking systems. I have looked into them and I am really considering doing a paper bullet journal system. But I don't wanna! Please help me! What tracker system do use? I tried MyFitness Pal but I find I am having to create foods (such as Knorr soups) I want one that is user friendly.

I have played around in Baritastic. It seems pretty easy to use once you get the hang of it, and has all sorts of reminders you can set up specifically for Bariatric life.

I haven't really gotten into it or any other yet, because i am still pre-op, but I'm leaning toward that one...

The soups didn't scan?

Myfitnesspal is the only one I continue to like. I've tried lots of them. Still the biggest database.

I'm going to sound so old fashioned(I only say this because I'm 20 and should be all about technology) but I love using pen and paper to document my nutrition, I think it's because I can form it how I want, organize it how I want and make it all colour coded....but it's all up to the person who's doing the tracking to what method they like best! I hope you find something that works for you MJ

I'm a fan of My Fitness Pal. If I can't find something in the data base then I scan the bar code

If that doesn't work I will create the food item.

I also like it because it can import recipes from Pinterest/Internet and calculate the calories/nutritional value per serving

Also, I'm pretty boring so I'm really not having to add anything that often lol

I also like that it tracks weigh****er, activity and syncs with my fitbit as well!

Thank you so much ladies! These are all positive ideas. I want to get happy with tracking. I am finished my first week of fluids (Thank God) and it has been pretty easy to keep track without tracking. I feel things will get more complicated as I progress. I will keep at it!

I'm using Bariatric. I like that I can email the food report to myself and I like the format.

I wish I could name my quick adds and that they had President Choice foods in their database.

There are many more foods when you use MyFitnessPal from a computer instead of a phone. If I am struck with phone and can't find a food, I scan it. Or I wait until I can get to a computer and enter it from the database. There are at least 20 entries for Knorr.
